Conference registration is limited to the first 200 attendees. The 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 LJWC filled to capacity, so register early for 2012!

Private Read & Critiques may be registered and paid for separately as they become available! Conference registrants will be notified by e-mail when the list of faculty participating in private read & critiques becomes available.

Terms & Conditions of Registration

1. By submitting the registration you agree to pay the amount stated on your registration form.
2. You understand that no registration is guaranteed until you have received an e-mail confirmation from La Jolla Writer’s Conference.  Confirmation will be sent via e-mail by conference staff upon successful processing of the transaction.
3. Registration fee for the La Jolla Writer’s Conference does not include lodging. Lodging can be arranged at a discounted rate for conference attendees on a first come-first serve basis through the Paradise Point Resort & Spa at (858) 274-4630 or on the web at www.paradisepoint.com.
4. Manuscripts for the Private Read & Critiques must be received by us, in accordance with the stated parameters, no later than September 25, 2012. No Refunds for the Private Read & Critiques will be given after September 20, 2012.
5. Only paid conference attendees can participate in any of the conference events including, but not limited to, classes, lectures, workshops, receptions, meals, & keynotes.
6. Unless otherwise stated on your registration form, you will be entitled to a 75% refund of your registration fee for any cancellation made before May 1, 2012. You will be entitled to a 50% refund of your registration fee for any registration cancellation made before August 31, 2012. No refunds or credits will be given after September 1, 2012. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent via e-mail, fax, or snail mail. No refunds will be given on non-refundable registration specials.
7. While we will make every effort to keep the information provided to you as accurate as possible, all information, including but not limited to classes, class schedules, and faculty, is subject to change.
